ORIGINS - Theatre In Development

After a near sell-out Pre-Grad Party at Hyde Park Book Club, Finding Our Feet return with ORIGINS, a brand new platform celebrating emerging writers, performers, and directors!!

Join us at Seven Arts, Leeds on Friday 6th February 2026 for our first event of ORIGINS, starting with ‘Theatre In Development’, an evening of original theatre that champions work-in-progress plays and new creative voices. Chosen from over 25 submissions, each piece offers a glimpse into the next wave of theatre-making in Leeds!

The night features three exciting new works:

An Extract from “The Peasants Feast” by Brandon Robinson-Connolly
“Jellyfish” by Lewi Chapman
“SOIL” by Alexis Starke

With the bar open throughout, ORIGINS invites you to experience new work in a relaxed, supportive space – where creativity meets community and new stories begin to find their feet!
